Tom Thorum, Head Coach

Tom has been teaching private lessons for over 30 years.  Tom’s ‘eye’ for swimming technique and ability to communicate swimming corrections is unparalleled.  Tom has provided Private Coaching and Instruction to one National Age Group Record holder, two Olympic Trials Swimmers, one US Open Qualifier, several Junior National Qualifiers, one Ironman World Record holder, multiple D1 college swimmers, and hundreds of novice swimmers young and old. 
 
Zofi Peacock, Associate Head Coach

Born and raised in Alburquerque, New Mexico she swam her first two years in college at the University of California, Fresno and broke 7 school records as well as winning the 200 Fly at the Mountain West Conference Championship. Zofi went on to swim in Poland for their National Team before transferring to the University of Utah to finish her swimming career and get a degree in kinesiology and nutrition. Zofi has always had a passion for swimming and seeing kids find their passion for swimming too!
 
Evan VanBrocklin (EV), College (D1) Swimmer

Evan has been swimming for 15 years, 10 of those with Olympus Aquatics. He graduated from Olympus High School in 2022 where he was Captain of the Men's swim team and set multiple individual and relay state records at the age group, senior, and high school level. He was selected to the USA Swimming National Junior Team for 2022-2023 and achieved an Olympic Trial qualifying time in the 200 meter Butterfly in 2023 and 2024. Evan was recruited to compete for the University of Utah Men’s swim and Dive team starting in the fall of 2022. He is a Red Cross certified lifeguard/water safety instructor and has taught group and private swim lessons for the past six years. Evan enjoys working with kids at all levels of swimming to improve their skills.
